About the Bridgestone TURANZA EL 400

The Turanza EL400 is Bridgestone's Typical Touring All-Season tire. The designers developed the Turanza EL400 especially for drivers of sedans, vans and sporty coupes. These tires offer extended wear, responsive handling and continuous traction on dry or wet roads and during light snow. There are three main elements of Bridgestone's Ultimate Network of Intelligent Tire Technology (UNI-T) features: CO-CS: This is a Computer Optimized Component System, which allows both processes of design and manufacturing to work more cooperatively. The result is a more effective high performance tire. O-Bead: This bead structure is rounder. It reduces the overlapping of joints in the bead area, which results in a better -quality ride. L.L. Carbon (Long Link Carbon): This helps the rubber compound to resist the tearing of the tiny treads connected to wear. The outside of the Turanza EL400 tire features a tread rubber compound shaped into a symmetric tread design that has straight circumferential grooves to provide dry and wet road traction, resistance to skidding and noise comfort. While on the inside, there are two steel belts encased in a polyester cord to give a comfortable ride. These twin belts also provides stability, durability, and resistance to skidding.
