The Bridgestone ER33 Turanza is a grand touring summer tire that is most often used as an original equipment tire for sedans from Infiniti, sports coupes from Infiniti as well as sedans and sports coupes from Toyota and Lexus. These tires blend predictable handling, good looks, a smooth ride and low noise all in a tire that provides great traction on dry and wet roads. These are summer tires and not to be driven in snow or ice and shouldn’t be worn in near freezing temperatures. These tires are made from a summer tread compound that has been molded into a 5-rib symmetric tread design that helps to provide great traction and predictable handling. There are also the lateral notches and circumferential tread grooves that enhance wet traction by reducing hydroplaning. The Bridgestone ER33 has twin steel belts that have been reinforced with nylon that is spirally wrapped with nylon to stabilize the tread area and enhance high speed capability and handling. There is also a rayon or polyester cord body on the inside depending on the application.
