About the Bridgestone POTENZA RE92

The Bridgestone RE92 Potenza is a high performance all season tires made as the original equipment for sports coupes, performance sedans and sports cars. These tires provide a smooth and quiet ride that promotes all season traction, predictable handling and all these even in light snow. Made with an all season compound the tread is molded into a computer enhanced symmetric design that minimizes tread noise. There are also interlocking triangulated tread blocks along with circumferential tread grooves that provide traction in wintry conditions as well as wet and dry conditions. Internally the RE92 Potenza features dual steel belts that are reinforced with the use of nylon belt edge strips which are spirally wrapped for tires with a H- speed rating and spirally wrapped cap ply with single belt edge stripes for tires that have a V speed rating or higher. The belt edge strips help to stabilize the tread area, thereby enhancing the high speed capabilities and enhancing the wear of the tires. They also feature a polyester cord body that helps to provide responsive handling and a smooth ride.
