About the Bridgestone DUELER H/L ALENZA

The Bridgestone Alenza HL tire is an all season touring tire created for Crossover Utility Vehicles and Sport Utility Vehicles alike. These tires are also suitable for use on light duty pickup trucks as well. These all-season tires will provide year round traction even on surfaces covered with light snow. These tires are made with Bridgestone’s UNI-T technology which increases the control and the comfort of the tire while enhancing wet traction. The technology uses dual layer tread compounds that help to resist hardening of the tread rubber. The tire features a special high grip rubber that can be found under the tread. This rubber is exposed as the tire wears offsetting the effects of wear and heat on the tire and thus protecting its ability to maintain wet traction even after tire wear. The Bridgestone Alenza HL features a symmetric tread design that helps to reduce ride noise and enhance the comfort of the occupants of the vehicle. With a continuous center rib and large shoulder blocks these tires are very responsive and stable on highways. They also feature wide circumferential grooves with lateral sipes and notches that increase traction in stormy weather. Internally the Bridgestone Alenza HL features two steel belts reinforced by spirally wound nylon in W and V speed rated sizes. This provides support beneath the tread area and polyester cords help to enhance the quality of the ride while stabilizing the sidewalls.
