About the Bridgestone DUELER H/L 422 ECOPIA

Bridgestone developed the Dueler H/L 422 Ecopia for drivers of small to medium sized crossover utility vehicle applications. The Dueler H/L 422 Ecopia delivers year-round grip, handling, and comfort. Designed to reduce eco-friendly impact, the Dueler H/L 422 Ecopia improves fuel consumption by decreasing rolling resistance. By producing less carbon dioxide (CO2) emission, the tire provides all-season traction even in light snow conditions. Bridgestone used its distinctive NanoPro-Tech (Nanotructure-Oriented Properties control Technology) all-season compound that allows the Dueler H/L 422 Ecopia to reduce energy loss and rolling resistance and maintains wet, dry and winter-time traction. Molding symmetric tread pattern featuring a combination of jagged shoulders, intermediate ribs, and independent center blocks, the tire delivers traction and dry road tracking. Four wide circumferential grooves help to disperse water quickly from beneath the footprint for hydroplaning resistance and improved grip. The notches and sipes provide the bite needed in light snow. Bridgestone’s Fuel Saver compound on the tire’s sidewall allows for additional increased efficiency. The Dueler H/L 422 Ecopia internal structure contains matching steel belts covered by spirally wrapped nylon above a polyester body that combines durability and a comfortable ride.
